Nov 7: Arrive Melbourne
On arrival in Melbourne, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. VIBE

Nov 8: Melbourne sightseeing & Phillip Island
On this full day tour view fine examples of Melbourne’s architectural splendor
such as Town Hall, opulent St. Paul’s Cathedral, Princess and Regent theatres,
and Federation Square and visit the picturesque Fitzroy Gardens. Continue to
Phillip Island, famous for its magical procession of the Little Penguins as they
waddle ashore at sunset and the Koala Conservation Centre, with 2 tree top
boardwalks which allow you to come ‘face to face’ with koalas in their natural

Nov 9: Melbourne / Ayers Rock
Fly to Ayers Rock and transfer to DESERT GARDENS HOTEL, featuring the
unique flora of the Central Australian Desert. (B)
Nov 10: Ayers Rock
Witnessing a sunset and sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The
Olgas) is an awe-inspiring experience. Watch the remarkable changing colors of
Uluru as the sun rises over the desert landscape. Tour the base of Uluru, including
a guided walk into Mutitjulu waterhole and a drive around the base of Uluru.
Visit the Uluru–Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Later return to view sunset, so you
can appreciate the changing of the colors once again, while enjoying a glass of
sparkling wine. (B)
Optional Sounds of Silence Dinner:
Experience an unforgettable evening, as you enjoy champagne and canapés and
culinary delights, including barramundi, kangaroo, emu, crocodile, bush salads,
and classic Australian desserts under the Outback sky. While the sun sets in a
blaze of reds and oranges, you are held in thrall by some of the world’s best
stargazing, with the assistance of the resident astronomer.
Nov 11: Ayers Rock / Cairns
Fly to Cairns and transfer to the NOVOTEL CAIRNS OASIS. Rest of the day at
leisure. (B)
Nov 12: Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Today’s Great Barrier Reef Adventure with Great Adventures starts with a
catamaran cruise to the reef where you will be able to spend three hours at
an outer reef pontoon. The tour also includes coral reef viewing tour in a semi
submersible, reef education presentation, morning tea and a buffet lunch and
much more. It is an unforgettable day on the reef with lasting impressions of

Nov 13: Kuranda Tour
Ride on the Kuranda Scenic Railway is a magnificent feat of engineering, and
explore some of the great characters involved in the construction of this great
railway. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Frogs Restaurant and descend by kyrail
Rainforest Cableway, a unique rainforest experience offering a birds eye view
over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest, followed by a visit to
Tjapukai, Australia’s first Aboriginal dance theatre which showcases the culture
of the rainforest people of Tropical North Queensland, using the latest in illusion
theatrics and technology. (BL)
Nov 14: Eclipse Viewing
Early this morning board the catamaran to Green Island. The North-Eastern
beach is the preferred location to get a perfect view of the Eclipse! First contact
is at 5:44 am local time with the sun 2 degrees above the horizon. The
total phase starts (2nd contact) at 6:38 local time with the sun 14 degrees
above the horizon. Total phase is over (3rd contact) at 6:40 and the eclipse is
over (4th contact) at 7:40 am. Following breakfast, return to Cairns where the
balance of the day is at leisure. (B)
Nov 15: Cairns / Sydney
Fly to Sydney and transfer to VIBE HOTEL SYDNEY, a unique hotel offering
chic accommodation in the heart of Sydney.(B)
Nov 16: Blue Mountains Excursion
Enjoy an excursion to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park,
a natural wonderland of untamed bush, spectacular rock formations and native
wildlife. See magnificent steep valleys, canyons and the famous cliff formation“The Three Sisters”. Ride the steepest incline Railway in the world down to a
lush and hidden valley to explore the townships of Leura and Katoomba with
its range of boutiques, art and antique galleries and cafes. Following lunch
return to Sydney passing Homebush, the site of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and
Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can hand feed a kangaroo, wallaby or emu
- or enjoy a face-to-face encounter with one of our friendly koalas - among
one of Australia’s largest private collections of Australian native animals and

Nov 17: Sydney Sightseeing
Enjoy a highlights tour capturing the history of Sydney, stunning architecture,
spectacular harbor views and the world famous Bondi Beach. View the Opera
House and the Harbour Bridge from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Travel through
Chinatown, Darling Harbour, and the nightlife district of Kings Cross as well as
passing through exclusive suburbs of Double Bay and Rose Bay. Later, a Sydney
Harbour Cruise offers a panoramic view of important landmarks with an
exquisite buffet that serves an array of fresh local seafood, hot & cold dishes,
salads, desserts, cheeses & fruit. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner at the
Waterfront Restaurant, followed by a visit to Sydney Observatory. (BLD)
Nov 18: Depart Sydney
Transfer to the airport for your homebound journey. (B)
